這部 Galaxy S Plus 作為加強版，外觀跟 Galaxy S 分別不大，但規格就有多方面的改動，手機的操作表現亦有所提昇。

1.4GHz 單核處理器和 1650mAh 電池可說是最主要的改動。而 Samsung 亦在網頁上強調 Galaxy S Plus 在 CPU 處理器速度加快了 36%，而電池壽命也延長了 24%。
