來自 Androidandme 網站的消息。Google 將會推出應對 Apple Siri 的 Project，內部 Code name 名為 Majel (來自 Star Trek 的 Majel Barrett-Roddenberry)。
Voice Actions 進化 Majel
Majel 將會是現有 Voice Actions 的進化版本，Voice Actions 需要使用特定指令，而 Majel 就可直接對應 Natural Language。在初推出的版本，會先應用在搜尋上，稍後才會擴展至操控功能上。
據 Androidandme 的消息，Google X 正在努力希望第一個版本在今年內推出，但明年一或二月推出則較大可能。而其他的操控功能，如撥打電郵，操作 Apps 等就會稍後推出。
而 Google 的 Matias Duarte 早前亦曾表示
Our approach is more like Star Trek, right, starship Enterprise; every piece of computing surface, everything is voice-aware. It’s not that there’s a personality, it doesn’t have a name, it’s just Computer.
大家就看看未來一兩個月的發展，Voice Actions 應會有大進步了。
