Sony Ericsson 在 Blog 發表了更清晰的 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 升級時間表。
2011 年推出的 Xperia 手機將會在 3月尾至4月初開始進行 Ice Cream Sandwich 升級，首批獲得升級的將會是 Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V 和 Xperia Ray。
隨後在 4月尾至5月初，Xperia Arc, Play, Neo, Mini, Mini Pro, Pro, Active 和 Live with Walkman 都會獲得升級。
With the holiday season around the corner, we’re happy to confirm that the first 2011 Xperia™ smartphones will be upgraded to Android 4.0 starting from end March/early April 2012.
The first smartphones to get the upgrade are Xperia™ arc S, Xperia™ neo V and Xperia™ ray.
Soon after, starting from end April/early May, Xperia™ arc, Xperia™ PLAY, Xperia™ neo, Xperia™ mini and mini pro, Xperia™ pro, Xperia™ active as well as Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman™ will get their upgrades.
同一型號手機不會同一時間獲得升級，會分批進行並可能跨越數星期時間。當有升級時，手機會收到 OTA 通知進行下載，也可以透過電腦軟件 PC Companion 進行升級。
