自從上年11月 Google 推出了 Play Newsstand 書報攤後，就預計 Google Currents 潮流同步會有完結的一天。今天 Google Currents 推出了 v2.3 更新，這個更新其實就是自我終結。
更新後, 自我終結
在 Play Store 更新了 Google Currents 後，開啟 Google Currents 就會看到如上圖的畫面，提示用家使用 Google Play Newsstand，而在 Google Currents 內的訂閱項目就會自動轉移至 Newsstand 書報攤。
當按下 [啟動 Google Play 書報攤] 按鈕後，手機 App Tray 內的 Google Currents 圖示亦會自動移，而 Play Store Google Currents 頁面亦沒有 [開啟] 按鈕，只餘下 [解除安裝]。
