Google 正式推出專為兒童而設的 Youtube Kids App，已在 Play Store 推出，但只限美國。(更新：下面有 APK 下載連結)
Youtube Kids 在介面設計以至影片內容都是為兒童小朋友而設。介面簡化了，簡單的四個大Icon 為主，而圖像和按鈕都變大了，方便小朋友操作，亦可以用語音輸入。
至於內容，全都是適合小朋友的，設有四個分類，Shows, Music, Learning 和 Explore。而家長亦可以設定 Timer 限制使用時間, 甚至將搜尋功能停用。
只限美國
這個新 App 已開放予美國用家，但 Google 未有透露何時開放給其他地區的用家。
Today, we’re introducing the YouTube Kids app, the first Google product built from the ground up with little ones in mind. The app makes it safer and easier for children to find videos on topics they want to explore, and is available for free on Google Play and the App Store in the U.S.
