早前任天堂已公佈會跟 DeNA 合作投入手機遊戲市場，而在剛過去的公司財務發佈會上，任天堂將會在下一個財政年度前 (即2017年第一季) 推出五款智能裝置遊戲。

首款遊戲將會在今年內推出，其他的則會在2016年至2017年陸續推出。任天堂未有公佈會在那一個平台推出遊戲，但照估計 Android 平台應會包含在內。
五款遊戲看來不算太多，但仕天堂表示目標是希望可以做到每款遊戲都是一個熱潮，並希望在每款遊戲推出後可持續推展一段時間。
