美國運輸部, 美國聯邦航空總署以及管道和危險物質安全局共同公佈，由 2016年10月15日起，禁止所有 Samsung Galaxy Note 7 登上飛機。
Individuals who own or possess a Samsung Galaxy Note7 device may not transport the device on their person, in carry-on baggage, or in checked baggage on flights to, from, or within the United States.
在美國內陸的航班, 以及前往或離開美國的般班，乘客都不可攜帶 Note 7, 存放於手提行李, 寄艙行李內。Note 7 亦不可透過航空貨運運送。
美國消費者產品委員會主席亦提到，無論是原本還是已更換的 Note 7，它涉及的起火風險都是太大。

另外，又有一單 Note 7 爆炸事故在 Youtube 出現。根據影片說明，爆炸發生於 10月13日下午4時30分，該部 Note 7 是已經換電的一批。當時 Note 7 沒有使用但就突然爆炸，影片所見事發地點是辦公室內。可以看到在地上的 Note 7，靠近電池位置燒毁，並不斷冒出白煙。
