Pixel 相機在美國, 加拿大, 英國等地推出，陸續有用家匯報了 Pixel電話的一些問題，當中包括有使用 Pixel 電話的相機拍攝相片的問題。
在 Reddit 以至 Google 的 Product Forum 上，都有不少人表示 Pixel 電話拍照時，當光源在拍攝範圍的一側出現時，相片就會有 Len Flare (鏡頭光暈) 的情況出現，很多人都擔心會否是相機硬件部份出問題。
數星期內有Update
Google Engineer 就在 Product Forum 上作出回應，表示已知悉有關的問題並指出 Len Flare 出現取決於很多不同的因素，亦留意到光或低對比的弧形出現在相片角落位置，Google 將會在數星期內推出軟件更新以改善有關的情況。
會利用一些算式去辨認出這些 Lens Flare，並透過一些數學運算將這些部份從相片影像中移除。用家只要使用 HDR+ 就可看到改善效果。
You can expect a software update in the next few weeks that will improve the effects of this issue. We’re working on some algorithms that recognize the halo/arc flare, characterize it mathematically, and then subtract it from the image. 🙂 You will need to use HDR+ to see the benefits of this software.
