Android 每月也會推出安全更新 Security Update，十一月份的 Security Update 已經推出，而 Nexus 和 Pixel 最新的 Factory Images 和 Full OTA Update Image 亦已經放出。至於其他廠商，就要再等一些時間才會收到 11月份的 Security Update。
今次 Security Update 修正了幾個 Critical Issues，包括一個在 Media Framework 內的漏洞，可以容許駭客使用特定檔案進行遙距攻擊執行程式。另外亦修正了之前有關 Wifi 安全漏洞問題 “KRACK”。
最新的 Pixel/Nexus Factory Images 和 Full OTA Images 已可以在 Android Developers 網站下載。但暫時只有 Pixel 2, Pixel XL, Pixel, Pixel C, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus Player 裝置，未見 Pixel 2 XL。
