又一个月时间，Google 为 Android 系统放出了十月份安全更新 Security Update，而 Nexus 和 Pixel 装置的最新 Factory Images 和 OTA Update Images 亦已放出。至于其他手机，就要等待厂商放出。
根据 Android Security Bulletin 的资料，今次十月份安全更新包括修正了三个于 Media Framework 内的 Critical Issues，三个都是属于 Remote Code Execution 可以容许骇客透过特定程序进行远端攻击。另外还有两个跟 Qualcomm部件相关的 Critical Issues。
