Android 每月也会推出安全更新 Security Update，十一月份的 Security Update 已经推出，而 Nexus 和 Pixel 最新的 Factory Images 和 Full OTA Update Image 亦已经放出。至于其他厂商，就要再等一些时间才会收到 11月份的 Security Update。
今次 Security Update 修正了几个 Critical Issues，包括一个在 Media Framework 内的漏洞，可以容许骇客使用特定档案进行遥距攻击执行程式。另外亦修正了之前有关 Wifi 安全漏洞问题 “KRACK”。
最新的 Pixel/Nexus Factory Images 和 Full OTA Images 已可以在 Android Developers 网站下载。但暂时只有 Pixel 2, Pixel XL, Pixel, Pixel C, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus Player 装置，未见 Pixel 2 XL。
