Bootloader 是讓手機可以刷自訂 ROM 的重要一環。早前，Sony Ericsson 亦提供官方 Bootloader 解鎖方法。而 HTC 亦在 Facebook 專頁內表示，會檢討現有的 bootloader 政策。

當然 HTC 最終會否開放 Bootloader 還未知道，但是手機廠商面對大眾越來越強烈要求解鎖的聲音，也得要作出回應。
