Google 之前曾為 Nexus S 推出 Android 2.3.6 (Build Number GRK39C) 的 OTA 更新，但之後發現這個 GRK39C 的版本在使用 Wifi 和 Tethering 時會出現問題，更新就叫停了。
Google 現在再推 Android 2.3.6 的更新，今次 Build Number 為 GRK39F。大家可以留意 Nexus S 手機的 OTA 更新通知。
若果大家不想等待，下面也有手動更新的步驟。
步驟如下：
過程跟過往手動更新相同，留意只適用於 2.3.4 GRJ22，手動更新有一定風險。
1. 從下面連結，下載 Nexus One 更新檔
http://v16.lscache6.c.android.clients.google.com/packages/data/ota/google_crespo/7d11404284c0.signed-soju-GRK39F-from-GRJ22.7d114042.zip
2. 將檔案重新命名為 update.zip 並複製至 Nexus S 手機的內置記憶咭內 [請確定名稱為 update.zip 並不是 update.zip.zip.]
3. 將 Nexus S 關機
4. 按下 “Volume UP” 按鈕, 並按”Power”按鈕開啟電話
5. 畫面會顯示正在搜尋檔案. 移至最下的 “Recovery” 並按 “Power” 按鈕.
6. 當你見到一個附有感嘆號的三角形時, 同時按下 “Power” 按鈕和 “Volume UP” 按鈕.
7. 在顯示的選單中, 選取 “Apply sdcard:update.zip”
8. 當畫面顯示 “Install from sdcard complete”, 選取 “reboot system now” 並等待電話重新啟動. (這或需較長時間)
