經過多次流傳，Samsung 終於在官方 Facebook 發佈 Galaxy S II Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 升級的消息。
今天歐洲韓國開始
Sasmung 公佈今天開始會在歐洲地區，包括 波蘭，匈牙利和瑞典，以及韓國為 Galaxy S II 推出 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 的更新，其他地區亦會陸續推出。

We’re thrilled to announce that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be served to GALAXY S II users in the European countries including Poland, Hungary and Sweden, as well as Korea today, and gradually roll out to other markets.
另外，通告亦提及其他的手機升級事宜。GALAXY Note, GALAXY S II LTE, GALAXY Tab 8.9 和 10.1 稍後亦會獲得 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 升級。
舊機亦有 Android 2.3 更新
而 Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab (7 吋), GALAXY S Plus, GALAXY S SCL (Super Clear LCD) 和 GALAXY W 將會在三月尾獲得 Android 2.3 的功能更新。當中，Galaxy S 的更新包括 Face Unlock, Snapshot 和 Photo Editor等。
