這陣子，Galaxy Nexus 在不同地區減價，看似 Google 想清貸。根據過往經驗，Google 每一年都會推出一部親生仔 Nexus 系列手機，由第一代的 Nexus One, 到 Nexus S, 再到最新的 Galaxy Nexus，預計今年年尾會推出第四代 Nexus 手機。
而Digitimes 報道，Samsung 獲得 Google 第四代親生仔手機開發合約。
Since Samsung has become the top vendor of Android smartphones, Google will continue to have Samsung develop its next-generation Nexus models, leveraging Samsung’s innovation ability with regard to the Android platform, and its ability to control the supply of key components, said sources.
根據報道，由於 Samsung 在 Android 平台上的領導地位，還有是 Samsug 有自家的手機部件供應，所以 Google 決定將第四代 Nexus 交由 Samsung 負責。這是繼 Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus 後，Samsung 再度 “冧莊”！
無錯 Samsung 在 Android 平台已是領導者，還有如屏幕，CPU 等不同的自家部件供應優勢，Samsung 再造 Nexus 親生仔確實是十分正常。但連續三次都是 Samsung，真是有點悶！
筆者希望交有其他廠商負責，如：Sony Mobile，這樣可為 Nexus 帶來多一點創意衝擊呢。Samsung 手機真是不錯，但論設計創意變化，Sony 就較多花臣。再不然交由 Motorola 也不錯，Milestone 和 RAZR 都是很好的手機，由 Motorola 推出親生仔有一定吸引力呢！
