HTC 在官方網站發佈了有關 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 升級的最新消息。
大部份手機會於六月和七月獲得升級，並預計所有獲得升級的手機，會在八月前完成升級。
其實，HTC 最近都陸續為不冋的手機推出 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 升級，例如 Sensation 系列的三部機。
推出後, 最多45天收到升級
HTC 亦提到，由於需要不同的測試，個別網絡營運商或地區可能要長達 45 天才可獲得升級。即是話，當 HTC 官方推出了 ICS 升級，45天內手機就可收到升級通知。
Due to localization, testing, and partner approvals, updates do not roll out to all devices at the same time. For devices on a wide variety of carriers and in many countries, rollouts can take up to 45 days from the initial update to reach everyone.
If your phone has not received the update after the 45-day period, navigate to Settings>About>Software Updates to have your device manually check for updates. If your device still does not show an update, please contact customer support
512MB ROM 手機不會升級
另外，HTC 亦表示一般只有 512MB ROM 的手機都不會獲得升級，包括 HTC ChaCha, HTC Salsa, HTC Wildfire S, HTC Explorer, 等。而 HTC Tablet 如 Flyer, EVO View 4G, Jetstream 亦不會升級。
HTC 強調版本升級不等同持續支援，沒有升級 Android 4.0 的裝置，若有需要，亦會推出軟件改進，保安修正以及技術支援。
Upgrades are not the same thing as ongoing support. Devices not being upgraded to Android 4.0 will still get software improvements, security fixes, and technical support as needed.
