之前已經有消息指 Samsung 會在九月四日在德國柏林公佈 Galaxy Note III 和智能手表 Galaxy Gear。而 Bloomberg 亦報道 Samsung 會在九月公佈智能手表 Galaxy Gear。
報道指這個智能手表可以撥打電話, 上網, 處埋電郵，但就不會有 Flexible Display (之前 Samsung 一個專利圖曝光，顯示手表會配置彎曲屏幕)。
