數天前 Samsung 在波蘭為 Galaxy S5 開展了 Android 5.0 Lollipop 升級，大家都期望Samsung 很快會為其他機提供更新，並擴展至其他國家地區。
不過，最新有消息指 Samsung 要到2015 年年初才會為 Note 3, Note 4, Galaxy S4 和 S5 LTE-A 提供 Android 5.0 Lollipop 升級。Vincent Se Young Lee 是 Reuters 於韓國首爾的負責科技新聞的記者，他在自己的 Twitter 貼文寫著

而在 Samsung Tomorrow 的 Flickr 帳戶上，Samsung 亦清楚寫明 Galaxy S5 已在波蘭和韓國本土推出 Android 5.0 升級，至於 Note 3, 4 和 S5 LTE-A 就會在 2015 年初推出。
Samsung Electronics starts offering Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade from the 5th for Galaxy S5 via three major mobile carriers in Korea. Samsung Electronics will continue the upgrade throughout early next year on major mobile product lineup including Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S5 broadband LTE-A, Galaxy Note 3, and Galaxy S4, and it will gradually expand the pool afterwards. The Lollipop upgraded on Galaxy S5 started on the 4th in overseas starting from Poland. With the latest Android Lollipop upgrade, Samsung plans to present entirely new user experiences for Galaxy smartphone users.
