Google Drive 將會推出更新，今次更新主要改進檔案分享的功能。
檔案分享通知
現在，當有朋友分享 Google Drive 檔案給你時，你會收到電郵通知，在電郵內按連結就可開啟相關的檔案。新版本 Google Drive，會有檔案分享通知。當有新檔案分享給你時，在通知欄就會有通知，可以在通知內開啟檔案。
you’ll receive mobile notifications to alert you immediately when files or folders are shared with you and a single tap can take you right to them.
Request Access
當利用分享連結向朋友分享檔案，但又未授權 (granted access)，對方就不可以開啟檔案。對方就可以在 Google Drive App 內發送 Request Access，你手機內的 Google Drive App 就會即時通知提醒你。
不需登入預覽
在網頁版 Google Drive 上，不用登入 Google 帳戶也可檢視朋友向你分享的檔案，但在手機 Google Drive App 郤規定要登入 Google 帳戶才可檢視。在新版本，就會跟網頁版一樣，不用登入 Google 帳竹亦可開啟朋友所分享的檔案。
