Samsung 公佈推出一個專為 Gear VR 裝置推出的瀏覽器 “Internet for VR”。
Gear VR 是 Samsung 推出的虛擬實境頭戴式裝置，可以配合 Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, Note 4 和 Note 5 使用。
這個 “Internet for VR” App 可以讓用家更加直接方便透過 Gear VR 瀏覽內容，不用預先將內容下載至手機內。Internet VR 支援 360度 和 3D 影片串流, HTML5 影片。而且 Internet for VR 支援語音辨識，設有 On-Screen Keyboard，並設有 Gaze Mode，用家可以用眼睛 “注視” 開啟 Menu。
“Internet for VR” App Beta 版本可以在 Oculus Store 下載。
Through the Internet for VR, users can directly enjoy a variety of on-line content by browsing the web. It supports both 360-degree and 3D video streaming, as well as any HTML5 video from the web
