Pokemon GO 推出了 v0.33.0 版本，修正了一些錯誤。
上一次 0.31.0 版本推出，郤帶來了一些 Bug，例如: 擲精靈球時，就算擲到 Excellent 也沒有額外 XP。今次 0.33.0 版本就修正了這個問題，另外亦改善了 Curveball 的準確度。
修正上一版本 Bug
除了修正擲精靈球問題外，今次 0.33.0 版本亦有其他改動。首先，修正了一些 Achievements 成就圖示以及為 Team Leaders 加入了一些展示效果。第二，當移動速度高於特定指標時，就會有提示玩定要確定自己不是在駕駛才可繼續。
還有，玩家在 App 內 Settings 可以有一次機會修改自己的 Nickname。
改進 Nearby
最後，關於 Nearby features。之前 Niantic 收起了三腳印顯示，現在 0.33.0 版本就加入改動了的 Nearby feature 並在部份特定 Users 內進行測試，所以遊戲期間，可能在畫面內看到改動了的 Nearby 效果。
若果被選中有份測試，主畫面右下角 “附近小精靈” 畫面，內裏會分為兩部份，一個是 NearBy 意思是 Pokestop 附近的小精靈，而 Sightings 就是在附近的小精靈，只要在 Nearby click 小精靈再按 [View] 就可以追踪，地圖會有腳印帶領。

其他人暫時只會看到 Sightings 部份，不過 Sightings 部份更新頻率較過往舊版本高。另外，畫面亦改以單一精靈 Icon 顯示，即是話就算有 9隻波音蝠，也只會有一個 Icon。

– Enabled the ability for Trainers to change their nickname one time. Please choose your new nickname wisely.
– Resolved issues with the battery saver mode on iOS and re-enabled the feature. ಠ_ಠ
– Added visuals of Team Leaders Candela, Blanche, and Spark.
– We’re currently testing a variation of the “Nearby Pokémon” feature with a subset of users. During this period you may see some variation in the nearby Pokémon UI.
– Minor text fixes
