Chrome for Android 更新至 v54 (54.0.2840.68) 版本，今次加入了數項改進。
首先是背景播放功能。在之前 Chrome Beta 版本已新增了這項功能，在網頁內播放影片時，就算轉至其他 Apps 又或關掉屏幕，影片仍可在背景繼續播放。這個功能已在 Chrome v54 推出，不過原先 Chrome Beta 可以在 Youtube 做到 Background Play 現在 Chrome 就不行了。
例如看蘋果新聞內的影片就可以背景播放，通知欄內就會有控制選項。
除了背景播放功能，在 New Tab Page 就加入了推薦文章。除了原先的常用 Page Icon 外，在下方加入了推薦文章列。
另外還有更新儲存密碼功能，以及一些錯誤修正。Chrome for Android v54 會在未來數天於 Play Store 陸續推送，各位可以留意一下。
