Pokemon GO 數天前推出了 v0.61.0，加入了繁體中文界面。但內裏用字都用了官方譯名，小精靈變成了寶可夢，比卡超都變成了皮卡丘，香港的玩家就不太受落。Pokemon GO 界面語言是跟從手機裝置內的系統語言，只要將裝置內的系統語言轉成英文，Pokemon GO 就會轉回英文界面。
說回來，Pokemon GO 早前從 British Academy of Film, Television and Arts Game Awards 中獲得了 Best Mobile and Handheld Game 裝項，開發商 Niantic 亦特別在官方網誌出 Post 多謝。

在貼文中特別提到 Niantic 團隊會繼續開發 Pokemon GO，並表示現在只是起步，往後還會有更多的新開發。當中就提到 Pokemon GO 稍後會有一個全新的合作遊戲模式讓玩家參與，讓一眾訓練員會有全新的 cooperative social gameplay 體驗。

Niantic 未有講解詳情，未知是一齊合作捉精靈，還是合作打道館，還是 Trading 交易系統呢？Niantic 之前的 Ingress 遊戲，就是比較強調團隊合作，需要同一 Team 人相互合作，才可以更有效將不同的 Portal 連接建立 Link。而 Pokemon GO 就偏向自己個人玩，玩家之間互動甚少。Pokemon GO 熱潮漸過，就算出了第二代精靈亦未能太吸引玩，確實需要引入一些新玩法新體驗。
