Android O Developer Preview 經過約三星期時間，又有一個新版本推出，Developer Preview 3 已經推出了而 Android O APIs 亦 Finalized 訂定下來。在 Developer Preview 3 內，亦已清楚寫明 Android O 版本為 8.0.0。
Developer Preview 3 更新內有數百項的修正和改善，亦包含了 API Level 26 的最終版本。Google 表示 Android O Cosumer Launch 會在數月內推出，開發商可以下載 API 26 最終版本 SDK，為 Apps 和遊戲最行更新和調較配合 API 26 以支援 Android O。
若果已登記參與 Android Beta Program 的，應該會很快收到 Developer Preview 3。Google 方面亦透露預計在 7月會有多一個 Developer Preview 版本推出，應會是非常接近正式版本。
