又一個月時間，Google 為 Android 系統放出了十月份安全更新 Security Update，而 Nexus 和 Pixel 裝置的最新 Factory Images 和 OTA Update Images 亦已放出。至於其他手機，就要等待廠商放出。
根據 Android Security Bulletin 的資料，今次十月份安全更新包括修正了三個於 Media Framework 內的 Critical Issues，三個都是屬於 Remote Code Execution 可以容許駭客透過特定程序進行遠端攻擊。另外還有兩個跟 Qualcomm部件相關的 Critical Issues。
