Google 今天放出首個 Android P Developer Preview。
Developer Preview 並不是為一般用家而設，主要是讓開發商可以測試和調整 Apps 應用程式以配合新版本的發展。
Android P 內裏有不少改動，包括 Jobscheduler 加入網絡相關配置, Runtime 改善運行速度和減少 DEX Memory 需求，新的圖像解碼等。另外，相機有關的改動就有雙鏡頭相機支援, 加設 OIS 和 Display-based Flash API。還有支援 Edge-to-edge displays with cutouts。
Google 亦製作了一段影片，簡單講述 Android P 新設的功能。
Android P 正式版第三季推出
根據 Developers 網頁上的時間表，Google 計劃會放出五個 Developer Preview。其中到了六月 Developer Preview 3 就會有 final APIs 和 Official SDK，之後就會有兩個 Release Candidate，到了第三季就會正式推出 Android P。
