Twitter 發出通知，指他們系統內部有 Bug，建議用家更改密碼。
Twitter 表示他們系統內部一個 Internal Log 會將用家的密碼以一般文字未有加密的狀況記錄下來。Twitter 指這個漏洞未有導致資料外洩或被取用，但作為一個保障措施，Twitter 建議所有用家都應更新帳戶密碼。
We recently found a bug that stored passwords unmasked in an internal log. We fixed the bug and have no indication of a breach or misuse by anyone. As a precaution, consider changing your password on all services where you’ve used this password.
Twitter 方面未有透露，Internal Log 內記錄了多少數量的密碼，亦未有交代用家其他資料會否跟密碼一同被記錄。無論怎樣，若有使用 Twitter 的話，也應該更改密碼以防萬一。
