在月初，Google 為 Nexus 和 Pixel 裝置推出了六月份更新，不過有 Pixel 2 XL 用家郤表示，手機更新後出現問題，手機喚醒時出現明顯遲緩的情況。
按下電源開關按鈕，又或以指紋掃描嘗試將 Pixel 2 XL 喚醒，手機往往需要數秒時才亮起屏幕醒過來。這個問題似乎只出現在 Pixel 2 XL，其他同樣獲得六月份更新的 Pixel, Pixel XL 又或 Pixel 2 都運作無誤。
事隔了約一個星期，Google 方面對這個問題作出回應。他們表示已知悉 Pixel 2 XL 的問題，亦已找到解決方案，預計會在數星期內推出。現時，Pixel 2 XL 用家可以在設定內將 Ambient Display 設定成 “Always on”，藉以暫時避開這個問題。
We are aware that some Pixel 2 XL users are experiencing occasional delays with wake ups. We have now identified a fix which will be rolling out in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the problem can be worked around by setting the Ambient Display to “always on” on your Pixel 2 XL.
