之前 HMD Global 已為多部裝置推出了 Android 9 Pie 升級，包括：Nokia 8, Nokia 5.1 Plus, Nokia 7.1 等，今天 HMD Global 就發出新聞稿公佈 Nokia 8 Sirocco 開始推送 Android 9 Pie 升級，現在總共有八個型號的 Nokia 電話運行 Android 9 Pie。
今次 Android 9 Pie 升級有很多改動和功能提升，包括全新的導覽手勢操作, Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, App Actions, 和 Slices。另外，也有 Digital Wellbeing 可以讓用家瞭解自己使用手機的習慣，提升數位健康避免科技成癮。今次升級亦包含了 2018年12月份的安全更新。
Android 9 Pie OTA Update 已經開始推送，外國已有用家收到更新通知，檔案大小為 1379MB。當然推送是分階段，用家可能要等數天時間才會收到升級。
