Microsoft Xbox Live 稍後將會推出新的開發套件讓遊戲開發商在 Xbox Live 上跟 Android 和 iOS 遊戲連接。
在三月舉行的 Game Developers Conference，Microsoft Xbox 將會參與，當中的資料顯示了 Xbox Live 將支援跨平台遊戲。Microsoft 表示支援的裝置數量將有 4億大增至20億，不同平台的用家可以連接起來一起玩遊戲。
