Google 早前公佈將會在 3月31日修改 Gmail API，致使不少配合 Gmail 應用的程式 App 也要作對應修改甚至終止某些功能，自動化工具 IFTTT 就是其中一個。
Gmail Trigger 不能用
IFTTT App 提供不少的自動化操作功能，用戶可設定觸發條件和執行動作，電話裝置就可自動進行操作，例如發送電郵。但 Gmail 修改了 API 後，IFTTT App 內部份 Gmail 操作都不能再提供，包括 Gmail Trigger 和 Create a Draft，但仍舊可用 “Send an email” 和 “Send yourself an email”。
After some communication with Google’s team, we were able to keep the two remaining actions without introducing major infrastructure changes. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to keep the triggers and the Create a draft action as we’d hoped.
這個影響只限於 Gmail，其他 Google Apps 在 IFTTT 內都不受影響。各位有使用 IFTTT 並有 Gmail 的自動化設定，可能要檢視一下有否受影響。
