在美國多部提供給媒體作 review 測試的 Galaxy Fold 屏幕都出現問題，引來不少人質疑 Galaxy Fold 屈曲屏幕的質素和可靠性，Samsung 方面亦對此作出回應。
Samsung 表示已收到數宗回報表示 Galaxy Fold 主屏幕出現問題，他們逐一為這些裝置作出全面檢查，以確定問題的原因。
Samsung 亦提到有少部份 Review Units 屏幕上的保護層 (Protective Layer) 被移除。Samsung 指出這個保護層是屏幕結構一部份，以保護屏幕不被刮花，移除這個保護層或會損害屏幕。他們會確保這個保護層用途資訊會準確傳達至消費者。
A limited number of early Galaxy Fold samples were provided to media for review. We have received a few reports regarding the main display on the samples provided. We will thoroughly inspect these units in person to determine the cause of the matter.
Separately, a few reviewers reported having removed the top layer of the display causing damage to the screen. The main display on the Galaxy Fold features a top protective layer, which is part of the display structure designed to protect the screen from unintended scratches. Removing the protective layer or adding adhesives to the main display may cause damage. We will ensure this information is clearly delivered to our customers.
至於 Galaxy Fold 下星期在美國開售的安排則未受到這次屏幕風波影響。Samsung 美國表示會繼續原定的安排，會在 4月 26日開售 Galaxy Fold。
