Google 搜尋可以在文字, 圖片等進行搜尋，找出你想要的資訊，也可以找出相關的影片。但若果要在影片中找尋，就不如文字圖片般簡單。
Google 在影片內容搜尋和整理做了不少功夫，由今日起 Google 搜尋可以在影片內找出重要時刻，讓用家更快找到所需的資料。例如搜尋教學影片時，內裏會有很多不同步驟，Google 搜尋就可直接提供連結跳至不同的步驟；又如演講影片，Google 搜尋就可提供連結至不同的演說部份。
Search will provide links to key moments within the video, based on timestamps provided by content creators. You’ll be able to easily scan to see whether a video has what you’re looking for, and find the relevant section of the content.
不過，這還需要影片本身有相關的時間點資訊才可以搜尋得到。影片擁有者需要為影片標示不同時間點的資訊，Google 搜尋就可依據這些資料作搜尋，而暫時亦只限於英文的 Youtube 影片。Google 亦透露一些大型媒體亦會參與計劃例如 CBS Sports，為旗下的影片加上時間標記。長遠而言，有了這個時間標記機制，搜尋影片內容將會更加容易。
