Google 在十二月時為 Pixel 裝置推出了 Feature Drops 更新，加入了不少改進，尤其是舊型號 Pixel 裝置，引入了一些原先只限於 Pixel 4 提供的功能。
不過，這個十二月份更新推送時就特別奇怪。一開始時已表明 Pixel 4 要稍遲才收到，其後有不少 Pixel 3 用家反映等了三星期以上還未收到更新推出。
Google 在12月31日於 Twitter 回應用家有關提問時表示，他們理解有關情況，若果仍未收到 12月份更新的話，數天後將會收到一個12月和1月整合的更新。Google 並對引起的不便表示歉意。
