Qualcomm 在上年年尾公佈了 Snapdragon 765 和 765G 中高階兩顆處理器，當中的 765G 是以 Gaming 為主，CPU 效能稍為推高並支援 Snapdragon Elite Gaming 功能。今天 Qualcomm 就公佈了 765G 的後繼延續版本 Snapdragon 768G。
Snapdragon 768G 採用跟 765G 相同架構但在運算和圖像效能上就有明顯提升。Kryo 475 CPU Prime Core 會由 2.4GHz 提升至 2.8GHz，效能提升 15%，至於全新的 Adreno 620 在圖像表現亦較上一代 765G 提升 15%，另外藍牙支援提升至 v5.2。
還會有一系列的 Elite Gaming Features 包括：True HDR Gaming, Qualcomm Game Color Plus 和 Updateable GPU Driver。768G 當然也會有 On-device AI 和支援 5G 網絡。

由於 768G 跟 765系列採用完全相同架構，所以可以完全跟 765 和 765 兼容，即是廠商研發採用 765 系列處理器的電話，不需在架構和軟件上改動，可以直接替換至 768G 處理器提升效能。下面是 Snapdragon 768G 的詳盡規格。
