Google 公佈 Google Drive 由10月13日開始，更改垃圾桶內檔案的保留政策。
過往用家在 Google Drive 將檔案刪除後，就會掉進垃圾桶內並一直保留，直至用家清倒垃圾桶。10月13日起這做法就會改變，檔案掉進垃圾桶後就會保留 30日，30日後檔案就會從垃圾桶內自動刪除。至於過往之前一直存在於垃圾桶的檔案，到了 10月30日並不會即時刪除而是會保留30日，過了30日就會自動刪掉。
Starting October 13, 2020, we’re changing the retention policies for items in the Trash in Google Drive. With this new policy, any file that is put into a Google Drive trash will be automatically deleted after 30 days.
Google 表示這個垃圾桶刪除做法是要跟 Google 其他產品的操作一致，讓用家有統一的使用體驗。
