Google 最近公佈更新旗下消費產品的環保政策，承諾會在產品中採用更多回收再生物料。
Pixel 5 機背為回收鋁製成
上年 Google 已表示會在 2022年旗下所有消費產品會包含回收物料，今年推出的 Pixel 5 和 Nest Audio 都有應用回收物料。Pixel 5 的鋁質機背蓋就 100%由回收鋁材所製成，較使用全新鋁材生產背蓋可減少 35%碳足印。至於 Nest Audio 的外殼就有 70% 為回收塑膠。
Google 最新就更新了環保目標，承諾在 2025年旗下產品會採用回收再生物料，所有塑膠物料最少有 50% 為回收再生物料，而 2025年產品包裝亦會 100% 沒有塑膠物料，並且100%為可循環再造。
