Samsung 在上星期舉行了 Unpacked 發佈會公佈了兩部摺叠螢幕裝置 Z Fold3 和 Z Flip3，並隨即在韓國和其他地方開始接受預訂。韓國媒體報道，兩部摺叠螢幕裝置預訂反應理想，已超越過往旗艦機的預訂數量。
截至剛過去的星期日，兩部機在韓國的預訂數量已達 450,000部，預計最終可達 600,000部預訂，若連同無鎖/無網絡商版本，數量可達800,000部。相對上一年的 Galaxy S21 和 Galaxy Note20 旗艦機，今次預訂量分別是 2倍和 1.5倍。
而 Samsung 對於 Z Fold3 和 Z Flip3 預訂反應亦回應表示感謝顧客支援，並表示兩部的總預訂量已經超越了 Galaxy Z 系列在 2021年的總銷售量。
