雖然 LG 已經退出了智能電話市場，但仍會為一些舊機繼續提供軟件支援。最新 LG 公佈第二季將會推出的軟件系統更新詳情。
其中 V50 ThinQ, V50S ThinQ 以及 Q92 5G 將會有 Android 12 系統升級，而 LG Wing, LG Velvet 以及 Q52 就會有 Security Update 安全更新。
不過要留意 LG 的公告中亦提到，OS 升級只限於韓國本土，未必會在其他國家地區推出。而且列出會有 Android 系統升級的型號，尚未經過技術評估。若果評估升級後不能達致理想情況，就有可能不向用家推出系統升級的。
