在 Galaxy Nexus 内，Ice Cream Sandwich 并没有预载 Flash Player，亦未能在 Android Market 找到下载。很多用家对此都十分失望，大家都担心在 Android 4.0 未能运行 Flash，因为 Adobe 已经宣布了不再为 Flash Player for Mobile 提供更新，只会作错误或安全问题修正。
但来自 Pocket-lint 的消息，Adobe 向他们确认将会为 Flash Player for Mobile 推出多一个版本，也就是支援 Android 4.0，并预期会在今年年尾推出。
Adobe will release one more version of the Flash Player for mobile browsing, which will provide support for Android 4.0, and one more release of the Flash Linux Porting Kit – both expected to be released before the end of this year
即是话，将来 Android 5.0 会是一个没有 Flash 的流动装置平台，往后 Flash 会逐渐在 Android 平台淡化。
