来自 Androidandme 网站的消息。Google 将会推出应对 Apple Siri 的 Project，内部 Code name 名为 Majel (来自 Star Trek 的 Majel Barrett-Roddenberry)。
Voice Actions 进化 Majel
Majel 将会是现有 Voice Actions 的进化版本，Voice Actions 需要使用特定指令，而 Majel 就可直接对应 Natural Language。在初推出的版本，会先应用在搜寻上，稍后才会扩展至操控功能上。
据 Androidandme 的消息，Google X 正在努力希望第一个版本在今年内推出，但明年一或二月推出则较大可能。而其他的操控功能，如拨打电邮，操作 Apps 等就会稍后推出。
而 Google 的 Matias Duarte 早前亦曾表示
Our approach is more like Star Trek, right, starship Enterprise; every piece of computing surface, everything is voice-aware. It’s not that there’s a personality, it doesn’t have a name, it’s just Computer.
大家就看看未来一两个月的发展，Voice Actions 应会有大进步了。
