之前曾有来自加拿大电讯商 Telus 的消息，指 HTC Desire HD 的 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 升级会取消，并指是由于在测试过程中手机表现未如理想所致。
外国网站 Android Central 就此事特向 HTC 查询，得到的回应是 Desire HD 和 Desire S 会获得 Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 升级，跟原先计划没有改变。
We remain committed to providing customers with the latest software updates when possible. As such, we are pleased to confirm we are still on schedule to deliver an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for both the HTC Desire HD and Desire S.
各位 HTC Desire HD 用家可以安心静待 HTC 发放 ICS 升级。
