随着昨天 Nexus 4 推出，Android 4.2 相关的项目亦已陆续发布。
4.2 已推送至 AOSP
Android 4.2 的 Source Files 已经推送至 AOSP (android-4.2_r1)。这亦表示 Custom ROM Developer 可以下载 Source Code 并整合至 Custom ROM 内。由于 Android 4.1 至 4.2 不是大型改动，一般预期 Custom ROM 开发团队要从 4.1 升上 4.2 应不用花太多时间，有些甚至估计一两天内已可完成！
The platform source files for 4.2 have finished replicating, you can now sync.
AOSP 暂未支援 Nexus 4
有一样要留意这个最新的 AOSP release 暂未支援 Nexus 4。
If AOSP starts pointing toward Nexus 4, you are having a bad problem, and you will not go to space today (i.e.: there is nothing in AOSP related to Nexus 4).
Nexus S, Motorola Xoom 不可升级 4.2
在发布 4.2 AOSP 的同时，亦透露了 Nexus S 和 Motorola Xoom 不会获得 Android 4.2 支援，Android 4.1.2 已是尽头。
There is no support for 4.2 on Nexus S and Xoom. Those devices should continue using 4.1.2.
Android 4.2 SDK (API Level 17)
另一方面，开发工具 Android 4.2 SDK (API Level 17) 亦可下载。Android Developers 网页内亦有讲解 4.2 新功能的资料，如：Daydream, Lockscreen Widgets, Multi Users 等。
