Samsung 开始为 Galaxy S III LTE 版 (GT-I9305) 推送 Android 4.3 升级。Galaxy S III 原先运行 Android 4.1.2，现在就直接跳过 Android 4.2，直升上 Android 4.3。
根据 SamMobile 报道，更新会在不同国家地区分阶段推出，可能仍要稍等一会，但相差时间不会太远。
系统升上 Android 4.3 就支援 TRIM，手机运作应较之前更快，另外更新后亦兼容 Galaxy Gear, 支援 KNOX。此外，亦从 Galaxy S4 引入一些功能如：New Screen modes, S-Voice。
