Google Play Developer Console 最近向开发人员发出讯息，要求开人员提供联络地址 (physical contact address)，而这个地址之后就会在 Google Play App 介绍页面上显示。
Add a physical contact address Beginning September 30, 2014, you need to add a physical address to your Settings page. After you’ve added an address, it will be available on your app’s detail page to all users on Google Play.
根据讯息内容，所有收费 Apps 又或附有 In-App Purchase 功能的 Apps 都需提供联络地址，这是基于符合消费者保护法例要求。若果没有提供地址，Apps 就有机会下架。
对于消费者来说，多一个联络方法总是好的。但真实地址又是否有必要呢？相信很少很少人会需要用到真实地址，去跟开发商联络。另一方面，从开发商角度看，那些 One-man team 就可能比较难题，他们可能只是在家中写 Apps，没有商业地址，他们可能要填上住宅地址呢。
