在四月时，Whatsapp 推出的 2.12.45 版本加入了备份功能，可以将对话内份备份至 Google Drive，但之后推出的版本又再将这个功能隐藏。
终于 Whatsapp 的Google Drive 备份功能正式登场。在最新的版本内，用家可以设定备份至 Google Drive，每月, 每周, 每日, 又或手动进行，亦可一并备份影片。
So starting today, WhatsApp for Android lets you create a private backup of your chat history, voice messages, photos, and videos in Google Drive. And once you do, you can restore everything on a new device with just a couple taps.

不过似乎 Play Store 内的版本还未更新。若果你的 Whatsapp 还未有这功能 (就连 Play Store 更新也没有)，可以到 Whatsapp 官网下载最新的 2.12.303 版本自行安装。

若果未曾设定 Google Drive Backup，开启 App 时就会有提示。在 “设定 > 对话和通话 > 对话备份” 亦可找到 Google Drive 备份设定。
