在 Google I/O 上，Google 介绍了 Android N 的功能和改动，其实大部份都是之前 Developer Preview 放出时的内容，至于 Android N 的版本号是多少就未有透露，而 Android N 甜品会是什么，Google 今次就用了一个特别方式，就是让大众提议。
Google 设立了 #NameAndroidN 网页，可以让大众提议 N 字头的美味甜品，提名活动会在 6 月8 日截止。

Android N 功能改进
至于 Android N 功能方面，大致上跟之前 Developer Preview 一样，但也有些微改动。在 Recent Apps 界面右上角会增加 Clear All 按钮。用家还可以在 “Recent Apps” 按键 Double-Tap 切换至最近使用的一个 Apps。
而 Recent Apps 列出的数量就限在 7个，Google 表示调查发现，大部份的用家只会使用 Recent Apps 内最近 7个的 Apps，所以就将数量定在7个，而一些较旧没有使用的 Apps 就会自动从 Recent Apps 的列表中隐藏。
效能提升
Android N 提升了 JIT Compiler，可以加快 Apps 的安装速度 75%，而 Apps 的 Compile Code Size 亦可减少 50%。
当然，Android N 还有其他改进，File Based Encryption, Multi-Windows, Seamless Update, Direct Reply 等。
Google 表示 Android N 会在夏天正式推出。至于 Android N Developer Preview 3 就刚刚推出了，可以到 Android Developers 网页下载 System Image 或 OTA
