在两年前已有传 HTC 会推出智能手表，并且是跟 Under Armour 合作推出的，盛传手表代号为 Halfbeak，在新浪微博甚至有人贴出了印有HTC 和 Under Armour Logo 的手表相片。不过这些传言应会停下来，因为 HTC 表示短期内不会推出智能手表。
HTC 全球业务总经理张嘉临接受访问，被问及智能手表方面的发展。张嘉临就表示 HTC 不会推出 Android 手表，他指出 HTC 不会沾手于手表发展，并指就连苹果这么大品牌，它的智能手表亦在下跌。HTC 在短期内不会推出智能手表。
I can tell you that we’re not going to have an Android watch. I don’t thing we’ve nailed it with [the experience of] watches. Android watch is one thing but even Apple as a big brand is declining [in watches.] We are not going to have a watch in the short term.
相信之前在微博流传的手表，应该是 Prototype 或测试品，最终生产不了。
