Apex Launcher 曾经是其中一个最受欢迎的 Launcher 之一，跟 Nova Launcher 可说是不相上下各有捧场客，Play Store 内累积下载量已超过 1000万次。不过，Apex Launcher 自 2015年中起已没有任何更新，好像完全停顿了。终于经过两年停顿时间后，Apex Launcher 再有消息。
Apex Launcher 贴出了消息表示，将会在5月推出更新。Apex Launcher 将会有全新的开发和技术支援团队，并会加入更多功能，亦会支援 Android 7 Nougat 及之后版本。开发工作会持续，之后再会加入更多功能，并会在之后的版本推出。
Apex Launcher will release an update in May, to bring our current version up to date. More features are in the works now and will be released in the future updates after May.
