Google 早前放出了五月份的 Security Update，不过已 Root 机的 Pixel 和 Pixel XL 用家就遇到问题。当安装了五月份的 Security Update 后，原先已 Root 机的 Pixel 和 Pixel XL 装置就会失去 Root 权限。
SuperSU 开发者 Chainfire 已知悉这个情况，并找到当中的原因。在五月份 Securtiy Update 内的 Bootloader 不会容许刷上没有 Signed 签章的 Boot Images，若透过 SuperSU Root 机就要 Flash Bootloader，所以就出问题了。
From the May 2017 release onwards, the boot images must be signed if flashed (booted works without), but may be signed with your own key rather than the OEM’s
Chainfire 当然也有提供解决办法。Google 是采用 Android Verified Boot 去辨証 Boot Image 是否已 Signed，所以用家可以透过自己的 Signing Keys 去 sign boot image。Chainfire 在 XDA 贴出了有关的步骤和做法，各位用 Pixel/Pixel XL 又想 Root 机的可以参考一下。
